Some days ago, my relatives and I gathered to enjoy this dish. The chef is my cousin who is clever with her hands such as cooking and needlework. I should learn from her but it is a pity that we live so far. At that time, she treated us Bánh Khọt, a specialty from her hometown, Vung Tau, a beautiful coastal city from the South.
Bánh Khọt is made of rice flour, coconut milk, shrimps, etc. It is best to be served warm, wrapped in herbs and lettuce and dunked in nuoc mam (fish sauce).
