Five Bird Idioms in English

Idiom is a group or words that has a special meaning from ordinary meaning of each separate word. When you see these idioms below, you may also remember that these idioms are also translated in your language or there are some similar idioms but with different metaphors and analogies.

In this blog, I am going to share with you some idioms related to birds. The illustrations are from online source. The reason I chose to share idioms on birds is just a random. Perhaps birds are popular so they catch my attention! Hope you enjoy and share with us other idioms you find interesting. A little bird told me.
Meaning: It means someone told me and I cannot say.

You eat like a bird.
Meaning: It means you eat very little.

The early bird gets the worm.
Meaning: It means if you get up early and work, you will get success.

A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush.
Meaning: It’s better to have something now than to dream.

To kill 2 birds with 1 stone 
Meaning
: Do one thing but complete two jobs
