Christmas is coming, I feel quite excited and eager. Although it is not an official holiday here, people in my city (Saigon) decorated the big boulevards in the center with colorful and sparkling ornaments. People rushed out on the streets at night to take photos or enjoy a walk. Most of the big streets are lit with lights.
Usually in Christmas, I will write some greeting cards and add some candies inside to send my close friends and my sister. Then we would have a small party to enjoy delicious food together and chat about things since our places are not close from each other, then walking along the streets to enjoy festive moments. So, Christmas is a good time to reunion.
Some days ago, a friend on Wechat shared with me the trouble of so-cold weather in her place (-3 Celsius degrees). She is a teacher of 4th grade class. The school is not equipped with any heaters so both teachers and students felt freezing cold. So they just try to get used to it. Then some friends of the group chat and I were finding ways to solve the problems. I found one by asking Mr. Google.

As a result, we figured out some simple solutions that she could apply to help with the children such as drinking warm water, wear enough warm clothes, and carry some little heat sources such as a bottle of warm water or bags of warm water. Kiddy said that she tried to make the kids to exercises in class for a while to warm up their bodies. After that, Kiddy and Sheila shared with the group pictures of their water bags. They are so cute and cozy that just makes us want to carry them all the time.
Hearing most of the friends suffer the freezing cold winter in other places like Hangzhou(China), Chengdu(China), Ventura (US), etc.; I wish that all of them could keep strong and healthy to overcome the cold. It is lucky for me that my place is not that much freezing, the lowest temperature is just around 16 or 17 Celsius degrees.
At the end of the blog, I want to say Merry Christmas to any friends around the world. If you know it in another language, please leave the comment. It is interesting to know the greetings in your languages.
Merry Christmas! Best wishes!
